It appears Joss Whedon wasn't the only writer who took advantage of last year's writer's strike to create a hilarious webseries. Writer John August (Corpse Bride, Big Fish, and Titan A.E.) wrote and directed a pilot for a post-apocalyptic comedy called The Remnants and it is REALLY funny.
As it stands right now, The Remnants is still being shopped around to possible sponsors so, as far as I can tell, there won't be any more eps just yet. But for now, the entire pilot can be viewed right here as Mr. August has been kind enough to make the whole thing available. It's full of famous faces and quotable lines so set aside 10 minutes and watch it. Big thanks to Quiet Earth reader Avery for the find.
