What is this, "awesome frickin' trailer day" or something? Not only do we get the first footage from Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are but we also get a look at the Italian trailer for Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's (Crank) Game! Best day ever!
Set in a future-world where humans can control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online gaming environments, a star player (Gerard Butler) from a game called "Slayers" looks to regain his independence while taking down the game's mastermind.
Alright so now that I'm over my initial excitement about finally seeing some footage for Game, I should say that I don't like this trailer all that much. It doesn't do a very good job at fully explaining the world or the "Slayers" game, nor does it introduce the characters and their conflicts. Of course it was tailored for Italian audiences so maybe the people who cut it were less concerned about explaining the plot and more concerned with showing international audiences some hardcore action. I'm sure we'll learn even more when an English version appears. But hot-dog if it doesn't have some interesting looking action in it!
Game stars Gerard Butler, Michael C. Hall, Alison Lohman, and John Leguizamo.
Sorry folks, trailer's gone and we've been asked by Lionsgate to keep it gone for now. We'll bring you the next one that comes around.

Looks insane

I'm italian and I find this remark really offensive:
- Of course it was tailored for Italian audiences who don't speak English so I'm sure all that will be rectified with an English version. -
Usually we see the same trailers as you, only dubbed in Italian (and this is dubbed in italian if you have noticed), they don't make simpler trailers for the 'stupid' italian as you seem to think!

WOW! This seems like a far cry from Phantom
of the Opera!! He looks tough. Wouldn't
want to get in his way! Guys will eat this
up!

Laura: I did not mean to insinuate that Italian's are "dumb" so I'm sorry you took offense to my comment. I was simply implying that perhaps the people who cut the trailer were less concerned with showing plot details and more interested in showcasing action to international markets.
Hope this clarifies my intentions.
