Wow, this retro throwback looks low budget, but the production values on the crabs attacking are great! Check it out!

Transgenic giant crabs attack the beaches of Trouville. The evil Raymond Santos, owner of a nearby processing plant, seeks to increase his company’s profitability by mucking about with the genetic structure of ordinary crabs, which proceed to do what all good self-respecting critters do in those circumstances: they grow to an enormous size and go on a rampage of destruction. They are uncontrollable. Basile Garaud, a member of the coastguard, conducts an investigation into the matter.

Uncle B I’m afraid not, I thought the same thing when I saw it. I think this is a filmmaker trying to stretch the envelope. It’s unfortunate that some times said envelope breaks, and the result is not pretty.

This is low budget fun guys, it looks like it has potential and it looks funny (as matt says, you cannot go wrong with giant crabs). With all the people downloading films nowadays, get used to low budget independent films guys, middle budget films cannot make money anymore... You're gonna see a lot of this in the years to come.
