Marina Antunes [Celluloid 06.29.10] Sweden trailer news comedy drama

“True Blood” fans, listen up. I know you love Eric Northman. More than that, I know you love Alexander Skarsgård as Eric Northam. You know you do. He's ruthless, occasionally mean and easy (very easy) on the eyes. If you're not getting enough of your Skarsgård fix with weekly episodes, I have a little treat for you. Meet the other side of Skarsgård. The Swedish side.

Directed by Johan Kling, Trust Me ("Puss") stars Skarsgård alongside his brother Gustaf Skarsgård in "a comical fresco on human misdemeanours and betrayals, dealing with sex, alcoholism, acne, voyeurism, cleptomania, pregnancy…"

Can't tell you if the film is funny because I can't understand what anyone's saying but Alexander in a red kimono certainly caught my attention and the trailer does suggests a few funny bits. Considering the popularity of Skarsgård, I don't doubt an American distributor stepping in and bringing this to a wider North American audience.

Trailer after the break.

I'm swedish and I can tell you that this movie seems very funny :) and though you may see alex skarsgård as just a bad guy, he's actually a very good and funny comedy actor too :P

I don't doubt that he's a good actor and that this isn't much of a stretch for him but as someone who only knows him as the bad guy, this cracks me up to no end!
