Michael Biehn is undeniably awesome and it's cool to see him get behind the camera. Having said that, his new one The Victim doesn't exactly look like something I would run out and watch. It's clearly going for a fun grindhouse vibe, but it comes off just looking sort of... well, sleezy. Am I being too harsh here? Maybe. I will certainly track it down when it's available and if someone sends me a screener I'll review it. I mean it's Biehn!
Synopsis:
Good time girls ANNIE (Jennifer Blanc) and MARY (Danielle Harris) went into the wilderness looking for a good time. But when Annie witnesses a violent act at the hands of two Sheriff’s Deputies, she is forced on the run and stumbles across KYLE (Michael Biehn), a recluse living in the woods. Two worlds collide in this psychological thriller that will make you question your trust in mankind. WHO IS THE VICTIM?
Check out the NSFW trailer for The Victim after the break.

Seriously, people. How is there even discussion about this? Instead of quoting the IMDB newsfeed provided by this site as evidence that this site got it right (snicker) you might want to, you know, actually look up Michael Biehn's directing credits on that very same page. The Blood Bond is finished and released already. It's not even like double checking this is _difficult_ ...

I wish I could see the faces of V fans (recent remake) to see the poster and think Kyle Reese will appear on the series because of the "V" logo.

Watch out for the choke hold, deadly stuff, Sarah Connor would miss you, and there would be no future for us all without John.

Michael, you are awesome in every way. I wrote a movie with you in mind... one day I hope our paths will cross.

I've been a huge fan of Michael for ages now, love him watching him play so many different roles for he is a truly versatile actor and now a director as well. Hope this is the first in a long line of movies coming from him. If you read this Michael, you have in me a diehard fan and I'm sure I'm not alone.
P.S.: What happened to your official fanpage, I subscribed and all that but can't find it nowdays.
