Christopher Webster [Celluloid 11.16.11] post apocalyptic movie news scifi south korea



We've been tracking movement on Bong Joon-Ho's (The Host, Mother) post-apocalyptic Snow Piercer - an adaptation of French graphic novel "Le Transperceneige" - since it was announced way back in 2008. Well we're back again to say that things are looking good and the film is set to shoot next March!

Synopsis:
The French graphic novel "follows a group of people on a train without a final destination, struggling to survive after the end of the world brings on a cataclysmic ice age."


The film will shoot in Prague with a budget of around $35 million and it will be a Korean, U.S. and French co-production.
