Based on HP Lovecraft's Call of Cthulhu, this Catalonian production is looking for a budget of $16.8n million and it's only in the concept stage. As an adult oriented cartoon, the story follows the Necronomicon through the ages. Written and directed by Helio Mira, it's seeking funding at the Cartoon Movie Mart in Lyon, France. I hope they get the dough they need.

Synopsis:
There is a book capable of invoking the old deities of this world, who wait and watch us. A book that can put an end to mankind. Through the ages changes hands through the messenger, Nyarlatothep, causing madness and death in its wake: a young monk in an abbey in the Middle Ages, an innocent child during the bombing of Dresden in World War II, a naive group of teenagers in the Roaring Twenties and an American misfit in Tokyo today.


The book changes the behavior and unleash terror in their wake. When the Elders wake, the future of humanity hang in the balance ...

Different histories, ages and environments and the same intention: to honor one of the most eccentric and admired authors of horror literature (HP Lovecraft) through an original storyline section of the canon of his novels and stories, but set within the shared universe Providence that left us. Our search for the true nature of horror.
