quietearth [Celluloid 02.10.12] Spain thriller

Cut off from the outside world. Reading that part of the synopsis intrigued me after initially passing this film by in my research. Apparently, it's highly anticipated (at least according to THR) and cost 5 million euros to produce. Is it apocalyptic? Is it like the Bermuda Triangle? Will time run in an overlapping loop?

While there are stills available, I've decided not to post them and instead wait on some footage. The story centers on a group of old friends that meet for a week vacation. After a strange incident alters their original plans and they are cut off from the outside world, they decide to venture out to find help.

Fin is directed by Jorge Torregrossa (his feature length debut) with a script written by Sergio G. Sanchez (The Impossible, The Orphanage) and Jorge Guerricaechevarria (Cell 211) and stars Maribel Verdu (Pan's Labyrinth).
