Marina Antunes [Celluloid 04.19.12] zombies action comedy

The comment section lit up when we first posted the trailer for Marlon Ladd's Bad to the Jones. I thought, and continue to think, the movie looks like a heck of a lot of fun. I was excited to see the final product and it looks like those who loved it as much as I did, will finally have a chance to take in Ladd's comedy.

With the movie finished and getting ready for festival submission and distribution search, we've also come to learn that Bad to the Jones is having a cast and crew screening on May 3rd for which there are also limited tickets available to the public. I don't doubt it would be a heck of a good time to check this out before anyone else, with director and stars in tow, so if you're game for a little zombie action and happen to be in the vicinity of Oklahoma City, you'll want to check this out. Details on the event at the film's official website.

And while the rest of us wait for an opportunity to see the movie, we'll just have to enjoy the fun the trailer delivers. I'll take it for now but I can't wait to see more!

Cool to see a project I'm working on pop up in my RSS feed. I'm currently creating the DCP (Digital Cinema Package) for the screening of Bad to the Jones, so it will be screened just like big studio release.
