Marina Antunes [Celluloid 03.18.13] post apocalyptic zombies comedy drama



I was pretty impressed with the trailer for Jeremy Gardner's small scale zombie comedy The Battery (review). The trailer suggested a movie that far exceeded its limited budget and I was happy to find that it didn't lie. The movie, though it has a few minor problems, is a hugely enjoyable small scale story of two guys trying to live through the zombie apocalypse, and features a final act that I'm unlikely to forget any time soon.

FilmBuff will be releasing the movie digitally in June and in preparation for that release, a new trailer has been cut, taking full advantage of the positive reviews and the music which plays such an integral part in the movie.


I don't like this trailer quite as much as the first but it's still very good and between the two, there's a good sense of what you can expect from the movie. It's not one that all zombie movie fans will enjoy but those willing to step a little outside the comfort zone might be surprised to find a little gem.

Another ZomCom NO THANKS I am bored with them, they panned out after the first one.
