Marina Antunes [Celluloid 04.03.13] Germany scifi thriller drama

It seems years ago that I saw Eron Sheean's scientific thriller Errors of the Human Body (review). In reality, it's only been a year but the film hasn't been laying dormant since it premiered last year, it has been making the festival rounds garnering acclaims wherever it plays and for good reason: it's fantastic.

Immaculately paced, the tale of a scientist on the brink of discovery but also of personal collapse, Errors of the Human Body is a beautifully stark tale of a man coming to grips with his past and the dangers of scientists playing god.

IFC Midnight will release Errors of the Human Body with a limited theatrical run on April 19th and same day on every VOD service you can think of. Good thing too because it should be seen.
