It's been a long time coming but it's finally arrived! We're talking, of course, about the trailer for Richard Raaphorst's Frankenstein's Army, a director whose work we've been tracking for some time.

Set towards the end of WWII, it follows a group of Russian soldiers who come across a Nazi lab where a doctor had been stitching together fallen soldiers to create an army of super soldiers in a last ditch attempt to win the war.

With great looking design and old school monster make-up, Frankenstein's Army is looking to be one of those little gems that shouldn't be missed. Look for it in theatres and VOD July 26!

Actually, in doing a bit of research, the director of this film WAS the director of the short-lived (and unfinished) "Worst Case Scenario"

Yes indeed he was! This film has been a long time coming in more ways than one.

I like it...with a little imagination, these creatures look to be inspired by 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein"... always wanted to esee someone make a real film based on that... plot was just hinkey enough to work...
