Marina Antunes [Celluloid 07.23.13] Canada horror

It's been a long time, so long that I can't even remember it, since I've felt so icky after watching a trailer. So much so that I'm not certain I can muster the energy for Eric Falardeau feature film debut, regardless of how curious I am to see it.

The title Thanatomorphose is a French word meaning the visible signs of an organism's decomposition caused by death and from the looks of this bloody trailer, it looks like at least one of the leads has entered the final stages of decomposition by the film's end. I'd offer to check but honestly, I'm not ready to watch that trailer again any time soon.

The film centers on a woman who discovers some bruises after a night of rough sex but rather than healing, she's shocked to find that her body begins to rot "from the inside out." The trailer is even grosser and more unsettling than the description which is both a good and bad thing. This is definitely not for the faint of heart. Or stomach.

Also, this is NSFW.

Wow one of the more disturbing trailers I've seen this month. The woman has a nice bod (then I'm a sucker for nude nerdy women)
