Marina Antunes [Celluloid 07.21.14] scifi action thriller



I really dug Daybreakers (review) and have been waiting patiently for the release of the Spierig Brothers' upcoming time travel re-team with Ethan Hawke.

As we previously explained when we posted an image gallery for the upcoming sci-fi actioner, Predestination is loosely based on a Robert Heinlein short story and stars Ethan Hawke as a cop who recruits himself to chase a criminal through time.


Though there's no release date yet, we're hopeful some distribution news will emerge in the coming weeks, particularly now that an explosive trailer has emerged. It's sleek and action packed and hints at another great performance from Hawke.
