From Blumhouse, the producer of mega-hit horror franchises Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes a new scarifying feature The Gallows. This is the first outing by directors Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff, who caught the eye of Jason Blum with their online video work.

The first trailer is more of a teaser, but it's effective, fearing quotes from early test audiences. There's obviously something paranormal going on.

Synopsis:
Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy — but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.

THE GALLOWS is in theaters July 10th.
