Eli Roth isn't doing so well these days. While "Hemlock Grove" is doing nicely on Netflix, we've yet to hear anything about the release (theatrical or otherwise) of The Green Inferno (trailer) and now his newest endeavour Knock Knock (teaser), though picked up by Lionsgate, continues to sit without a release date. It's like we're doomed never to see another Roth movie again – even though he keeps making them.

Knock Knock stars Keanu Reeves as Evan, a happily married father who is left home alone for a few days. He's chillin', working on a new project when a knock at the door changes his life: a couple of cute girls, wet and cold, ask him for help. Being the good guy he is, he lets them in. The girls entice him into a night of wild sex. But if Evan thinks that's all the girls have planned he's sorely mistaken because the pair return the following night to make his life hell.

It's nice to see Roth playing with the home invasion trope and I like that this is a little different than the usual offering. Hopefully release details will be available soon.
