John Connor [Celluloid 09.21.15] post apocalyptic zombies apocalyptic action thriller

Directed by stunt man Stanton Barrett, who's worked on films such as Terminator Genisys, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and was even Brad Pitt's stunt double in Killing Them Softly, Navy Seals Vs. Zombies sees an elite team of soldiers (aren't they always) on a rescue mission to save the Vice President of the Unites states when a out outbreak hits NY.

Synopsis:
After losing all contact with the Vice President during a routine campaign stop in Louisiana, the U.S. Government sends in a team of Navy SEALs for the rescue. Dropped into a warzone, the SEALs quickly discover that they aren't dealing with a normal enemy. The city is under siege by hordes of fast moving, flesh eating undead. The infection is spreading and urban warfare has been unleashed. With no cure in sight and time running out, the elite unit has to survive their most horrific mission of all.

The film stars Rick Fox, Michael Dudikoff, Molly Hagan as well as "Olympian LoLo Jones and real Navy SEALs."

It will be available on Digital HD on September 25 and on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on October 6, 2015.

Since spec ops soldiers always perform a double-tap, zombies are just another set of targets to be knocked down, regardless of stationary or on the move. Judicious use of ammo on select fire versus full auto would mean the team would be able to survive indefinitely all but the largest zombie infestations, and maybe even those. I'd even go so far as to say that the soldiers wouldn't even know they were up against zombies for a very long time, since they'd be placing head shots on each target as they appeared. If they chose to take one of the infected or undead as a prisoner, they'd figure it out quickly enough, perhaps with one or two casualties. WW Z portrayed a pretty accurate accounting of the military versus zombies. At first there would be confusion, but then very quickly a resolution. Police versus zombies, however, would be nonstop hilarity. ;-)

So who said there's no life after the NBA. Rick Fox.... took his acting classes in the NBA acting like a NBA player. I bought him as a player... as the Vice President... I guess if Arnold and Jesse the Body could be Governors... Fox could be VP.
Next Shaq as Lady MacBeth....
