John Connor [Celluloid 10.27.15] horror

It seems beleaguered M. Night Shyamalan might just crawl his way out of director jail yet.

Following the success of The Visit, which grossed $89 million worldwide on a budget of $5 million, Shyamalan will partner with Blumhouse again on a new horror film called Split.

James McAvoy will star in the supernatural thriller along with Anya Taylor Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson.

No plot details as of yet, but I'm definitely starting to get curious about the direction Shyamalan takes his career now .

Split is due in theatres January 20, 2017.

More as it comes, folks!

I like his art. Yall get mad if you want, hes a good artist. Also the visit is really good. But consider the village, thats an excellent story. I think hes a good director. Im gonna download his shit. Now if I was forced like say for example in situation where i was over a cliff and had to choose between dropping New M. Night Shyamalan & Alejandro Jodorowsky id be like "Im sorry shyamalan!" And then hed be like "Ahhhh nooooooo truck youuuuuu SPLAT!" then Alejandro would make some awesome comic book. But yeah New M. Night Shyamalan is a good director and i like his stuff.

I liked Devil, I thought it was an interesting spin on an old subject. I understand M. Night didn't direct it but the story was his. I think the hate of M. Night is the let down after the Sixth Sense, a movie you could hang a career on.
