A supernatural Preacher, a gun-toting ex, and an Irish vampire are coming joining forces in Preacher coming to AMC mid-2016. The series is based on the comic series by created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint.
The show was developed by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin.
Official Synopsis:
The series revolves around Jesse Custer, a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a powerful creature that has escaped from heaven. Along with his ex-gal, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God.
The show stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joe Gilgun, W. Earl Brown and Tom Brooke.
