John Connor [Celluloid 05.04.16] United Kingdom apocalyptic horror thriller

Besides early buzz which seems to describe Tank 432 as a cross between Dog Soldiers and Jacob's Ladder, the upcoming UK thriller is intriguing as it comes from director Nick Gillespie, who has been lensing films for Ben Wheatley since Kill List. In fact Wheatley, whose High Rise, just hit last week, acts as producer on the film.

Tank 432 was originally titled Belly of the Bulldog and you can see a sweet alternative poster on the film's IMDB page.

On the run and with nowhere to hide, a group of soldiers and their two prisoners take cover from a mysterious enemy inside an abandoned military war tank. Whilst they try to keep the forces outside at bay, secrets are uncovered and little do they realize the real enemy is already among them, locked inside Tank 432.

A UK DVD release date is set for the film on August 22, 2015. No news on a domestic one.

I'm glad they clarified the fact that it's a military war tank.

Thankfully it builds on the tanks backstory. I want to feeel for this tank. Now I know it had some general patriotic purpose, and it wasn't some a'hole bad driver tank I think should be destroyed.
