A huge hit on the fest circuit last year, Lake Nowhere is a love letter to VHS horror and slasher movies of the 70s, going so far as to emulate the aesthetic. It was made with the participation of Brooklyn based performance artists The Ravacon Collective.

BrinkVision are releasing a special “Limited Edition” Blu-Ray/DVD combo of the film on August 16, 2016 and the disc will be jam-packed with special features, including a half hour behind-the-scenes featurette documenting the six fateful days on location at a remote lakeside cabin.

The film was directed by Christopher Phelps and Maxim Van Scoy and produced by R. S. Fitzgerald and Rose Sambrato in association with Ursidae Parade LLC.

Synopsis:
When a group of friends arrive at a desolate lakeside cabin, they are stalked and murdered by a Masked Maniac, whose lust for blood transcends our world. This age-old tale of senseless slaughter quickly spirals into the realm of supernatural horror and classic monster movies, as we learn the true power that lies within LAKE NOWHERE.

The film stars Laura Hajek, Wray Villanova, Nathan Andrew Wright, Oscar Allen, Melody Kology, Paul Gagnon, Charles Gaskins, and Matthew Howk and the “Masked Maniac.”

To get the retro look, additional film & VHS processing by Muckraker Productions.
