A new featurette on the making of Blade Runner 20149 has been released to mark the 35th anniversary of Ridley Scott's original Blade Runner

In the video, the cast and crew talk about creating 2049 Los Angeles, and how Blade Runner 2049 will be different from the original.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new Blade Runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD Blade Runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas, David Dastmalchian, Hiam Abbass, Jared Leto and Robin Wright.

Denis Villeneuve directs the film that is said to be rated R.

Blade Runner 20149 is out on 6th October 2017.
