Netflix just announced that entire season 2 of Stranger Things will premier on the streaming service on Friday, October 27th which makes this Halloween something to look forward to.

Stranger Things, created by the Duffer Brothers (Hidden), was something of a phenomenon for Netflix, tapping into 80s nostalgia in an accessible way without irony or sacrificing story. The soundtrack rocked as well.

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Personally, I was so completely satisfied by season one that I was hoping that Stranger Things would be more of an anthology show with each season following a new story set in the 80s. But the latest poster and trailer definitely have me intrigued and delighted at where the story could be headed.
