An international one-sheet for Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 has been released. It's gorgeous. It's also the only peice of marketing I'm daring to look at until the film is released for fear of spoiling what's to come.

The sequel to Ridley Scott's original sci-fi classic bring back Harrison Ford along with Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto and newcomer Ana de Armas.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 opens on October 6, 2017.

I'm going to go on record, right now (assuming the spam filter will let me) and say this movie will be bad.
It apes the original, without having a clue as to what made the original so good. A lot of films as of late, paying 'homage' to earlier works are following down this path. Having Ridley Scott onboard isn't a guarantee either, his track record as of late has been wretched.

Brave move, Digger. I think/hope you're wrong.

Denis Villeneuve
I trust.

Digger that is a poor excuse for thinking the movie will not live up to the expectations.
