Higarino, star of John Cairns' Schoolgirl Apocalypse (Sêrâ-fuku mokushiroku), is in another Japanese zombie movie: Kôsuke Hishinuma's upcoming Life Is Dead (Raifu izu deddo).

The screenplay for Life Is Dead was written by Hishinuma, based on the eponymous manga serial by Tomohiro Koizumi. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on official website) Atsushi Arai, Higarino, Ryôsuke Kawamura, Shintarô Akutsu, Ryô Shihono, Takuya Nagaoka, Airi Nakajima, Aya Enjôji, and Susumu Kobayashi.

Earl Grey Film K.K. (K.K. Âru Gurei Firumu) is scheduled to release Life Is Dead theatrically in Japan on February 11th.
