A teaser trailer for Ezio Massa's horrAR (i.e., Argentine horror) movie 2/11: Day of the Dead (2/11: Día de los Muertos) has been added to YouTube.

The screenplay for 2/11: Day of the Dead was written by Sebastián Tabany and Massa, based on a story by the latter. The movie stars Juan Gil Navarro, Agustina Lecouna, Carlos Kaspar, Nicolás Alberti, Galit Gurovich, Germán Baudino, Matías Firenze, Fernando Roa, and Julio Zarza.

Here's a synopsis for 2/11: Day of the Dead from the production: "A young man, Elías, appears on a highway running, naked and covered in blood. The police discover four corpses in the woods. Elías is the younger brother of town policeman Santiago. Everyone blames Elías for the murders; his sole defender is Santiago, who undertakes the most aberrant investigation to discover the truth - a hard, dark, and bloody truth."

Lecouna also stars in Santiago Fernández Calvete's The Second Death (La segunda muerte).

Distribution rights for 2/11: Day of the Dead are to be offered for sale by One Eyed Films Limited at this year's Ventana Sur (the world's foremost Latin American film market), which runs from November 30th to December 3rd in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Here's a synopsis for 2/11: Day of the Dead from One Eyed Films: "The villages of Valle Viejo and Malabrigo are separated by a dense forbidding forest which, according to the local belief, is plagued by a mysterious curse. On the eve of the 'Day of the Dead', four young friends camping in these woods disappear. Two days later, one of the friends, Elias, emerges from the woods naked and bleeding; a passing car swerves to avoid hitting him. When the police arrive, they recognize Elias as the estranged young brother of one of their colleagues, Santiago. An investigation into what really happened in the woods begins, leading to suspicions that nothing is what it seems."
