Tracking down a film mentioned here, help please

It was mentioned here, an Italian film (I think, definitely a foreign film ) about a group of teens/20s who have a close encounter with an alien and the fallout from there. I think they are chased or mutated. I had the notes in my phone but wiped them out by accident (dumb I know)

I know it's not much to go on, but the film was just completed, or maybe a few years old, but nothing from older than 2009.
Ring any bells for anyone?
