A future movie

After many years of reading Science Fiction and waiting on the new movies, especially those that I've enjoyed as books. I am wondering why no one has made a movie of Fritz Lieber's "The Big Time" , it is such an insane world, time and dimension story that people like Luc Besson and Neil Blomkamp working together could make it come alive.
