On a side note, what is up with that dust storm in Sydney? I saw some photos of it. It looked straight up post apocalyptic.

The whole state got that dust storm. It hit us about 2000kms away around 11am yesterday. When it was coming I thought it was a rain storm moving in. Within 1 hour couldn't see anything 100 metres away. It was pretty nifty looking though. Everything had an orange tint and the sun looked like a blue moon.

It also tasted like ****. All clear today though I still have crap up my nose, down my throat and in my eyes. The area that it blew in from (another state again) claimed it was so thick that they couldn't even see their hands in front of their faces.

Just right click and select view image to see the whole picture :)

This is from my back balcony yesterday

This today after the dust cleared

Yep it was pretty much the same in Newcastle (100 miles north of Sydney)... the sky put me in mind of "Night of the Comet"..
I work in an open shed/ warehouse, so we had dust everywhere. as there was already dust everywhere, it wasnt a huge inconvenience... :D

It has been announced that large amounts of Swine Flu vacine are about to become available throughout Australia.... What do you reckon? is it safe, or would I become (more) piglike :) if I chose to take it...

Apparently experts have predicted a Zombie outbreak this Sunday in Newcastle Australia... I know the smart thing to do, would be head for the hills, but I might try to make my way in there, armed with a camera (and a sawn off shot gun)... for a little look see
