Survey of fans of the post-apocalyptic genre

Postby MEGAT0N » Fri Feb 11, 2011 1:04 am

Posting this for a friend. She's trying to gather data on fans of of the post-apocalyptic genre. Filling out a quick survey would help her out, and her results will be more interesting with a larger sample.

I'm currently working on a project on - yup, you got it - post-apocalyptic fiction. And for this project, I need to develop an ethnography of the fans of the genre (and yes... that means you).

So the favor is filling out this survey - http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=IILJKG_9b8c6d51 - it's only 25 questions, shouldn't take too long, and you'd be doing me a huge favor.

So what's the proposition, you wonder?
Well, this is what I'm trying to gather: Average age of the PA fan, % of those who believe they would survive an apocalyptic event, favorite characters and books/movies, you know, all the things you already know, but would love to hear again!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to those who choose to do it - and know, this information isn't for anything but a little school project, and I can 110% guarantee painlessness.

When I was completing this survey I realized that the company I work for technically does disaster restoration. It is weird how my love for PA bleeds into all parts of life.
