Any good PA anime?

Postby quietearth » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:44 pm

Well I've got a couple on the list, specifically Desert Punk (not very good) and Gilgamesh (haven't watched it yet), so my question is, is there any good pa anime? The only anime I've liked so far is Cowboy Bebop (the basis for Firefly) and maybe Akira and Ghost in the shell..

I know Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. It's probably more suitable for younger audience but anyway it's not bad.

Then there's When the Wind Blows. Although most people probably woudn't consider it anime, because it doesn't have the distinctive style, and it's more catastrophic than PA, I think it's worth to be mentioned here and to be seen. I'm not sure exactly why, but it had greater impact on me than Threads or The War Game. I consider it to be a well made piece.

Please excuse my clumsy english. I can understand pretty well but I have problems properly writing and speaking. Corrections are appreciated :)
