23 degrees C...not too bad a day then...Got up at 5 am to Minus 23 degrees C. But not much whiney here...at least the shovelling was done and the highways cleared up...we even had our streets plowed around 4pm yesterday. Neighbours all out saying goodbye to the sidewalks 'til March.

Carry on Bro,

While I'm at it....someone at work mentioned a TV series they thought came from your neck of the woods. Sort of an Aboriginal radio station and the trials and tribs of the late night DJ. She said the soundtrack was great. I tried googy but came up short due to lack of info. Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Jeff

just had a bit of a look on the net, and came up with "green bush" a short film made in 2005, which seems to concern an Aboriginal radio DJ whos main audience seems to be (Aboriginal) jail inmates.

http://australianscreen.com.au/titles/green-bush/clip1/

if that isnt it, you could try
http://nitv.org.au/
which is an indigenous tv site.

or the ABC (national televion broadcaster... government funded) indigenous site,
http://www.abc.net.au/indigenous/

Hope this is what you're looking for :)

Trev.

Any one in the Newcastle NSW (Aus.) area who is looking for the remake of Day of the Dead, try Target at Glendale, they have it on sale for $12.99.
I havnt seen this yet (if there was a theatrical release in this area, I missed it, so I will be watching it shortly....

I am aware that this didnt get great reviews :)

Meh, it's probably fun nonetheless. I've been meaning to watch it as well.

Want to hear crazy deals? Not sure if it's still on, but at HMV in Canada they were selling the Alien Quadrilogy (that's 9 discs!) for $14.99. :o

I bought my copy 5 or so years back for $100. Oh well....
