Imagine a world where reality shifted and nobody had ever heard of the Beatles, except you. nobody knew their songs, except you. This is a premise of a new Danny Boyle movie called "Yesterday".

I seem to recall a Sliders like series about a family that slipped between realities (similar to John Wyndhams "Random Quest" which was made into the 1971 movie "Quest for Love", which was otterly enjoyable.... ). In the series whose name I cant recall, the kids started up a rock band in a reality that didn't have rock n roll and became quite successful, but had to leave it all as they were being chase by the regions authoritarian police force. can anybody recall the show? as I recall they had one song that was specifically about the Beatles mentioning them specifically by name, I'd love to track it down so I could see the show and listen to that song, which I had never heard before or since.

Finally saw this on a cruise ship in early February (no Virus, thankfully) was a pretty good show. Definitely not hardcore sci fi, but an enjoyable enough movie.
